October 21, 2009 This letter is written in reference to my experiences with Sheri Chisholm and Jeff Gunnell, Flora Landscapes, Wilmington, North Carolina. In 2001 my husband and I purchased a home in Wilmington. The home was landscaped and maintained by Sheri and Jeff for the two years we owned it. I was so pleased with their work that when we purchased a different property in 2003 I knew who I wanted to undertake this tremendous project. The property is approximately an acre and was a total disaster. We needed a company we could trust to be there for the duration of the project that had to be completed in phases and over a time period of several years. Sheri designed the plan to transform our land into a beautiful home place. She began working her plan and things were looking great. In 2007 we threw her a curve and replaced the existing house with our dream house. Sheri never missed a step. Needless to say with the new home came a new plan and another lengthy project. Sheri and Jeff have turned a piece of property that looked hopeless into a showplace. They built a keystone retaining wall, planted a flower garden to rival any other, reworked the sprinkler system they had previously installed, landscaped the new areas, and made what I believed could only be a dream come true. This property is a second home for us. Because of their care and top-notch maintenance we are able to sit back and enjoy our time there. When I drive in I always feel they have maintained my home and garden as if it were their own. We are in the commercial building business and also have built several homes for ourselves. To have a company we are able to rely upon and to know everything we need will be handled professionally and in a timely manner is a major blessing. It is rare to be able to work with a company that will do the job and do it well even if you are 100 miles away. This is what we have found with Flora Landscapes. Sincerely, |
